Mentorship Programs

Being an advocate for youth sports and their influence on and in the community, Becky sees a need for greater collaboration between the city and business leaders to bring about better solutions for the health and well-being of the community at large. Additionally, Becky also strongly believes in mentor programs or partnerships between business leaders and the city’s youth. The new businesses with new ideas and innovations constantly arriving and setting up shop in Surrey present such an opportunity along with more visible options for the city’s vulnerable youth by creating a safe environment where the city’s youth can learn new skills, connection centres for leaders in business, arts, and sports.
All while targeting the city’s crime problems. This combination will provide the youth with better choices for their future lives and lifestyle and strengthen the community. In other words, there is a need for greater communication between the city and business leaders to serve the needs of all the community’s inhabitants. For an approach that works for the people of Surrey vote for Becky Zhou in this Surrey Election 2018.
